## How to Convert Metric Tonnes to Kilopounds

*Example: How many kilopounds are equivalent to 15.18 metric tonnes?*

As;

1 metric tonnes = 2.20462 kilopounds

15.18 metric tonnes = Y kilopounds

Assuming Y is the answer, and by criss-cross principle;

Y equals 15.18 times 2.20462 over 1

(i.e.) Y = 15.18 * 2.20462 / 1 = 33.4661316 kilopounds

Answer is: 33.4661316 kilopounds are equivalent to 15.18 metric tonnes.
