How to Convert Metric Tonnes to Kilograms
Example: How many kilograms are equivalent to 12.47 metric tonnes?
As;
1 metric tonnes = 1000 kilograms
12.47 metric tonnes = Y kilograms
Assuming Y is the answer, and by criss-cross principle;
Y equals 12.47 times 1000 over 1
(i.e.) Y = 12.47 * 1000 / 1 = 12470 kilograms
Answer is: 12470 kilograms are equivalent to 12.47 metric tonnes.
