How to Convert Short Tons to Long Tons
Example: How many Long tons are equivalent to 29.81 Short tons?
As;
1 Short tons = 0.892913 Long tons
29.81 Short tons = Y Long tons
Assuming Y is the answer, and by criss-cross principle;
Y equals 29.81 times 0.892913 over 1
(i.e.) Y = 29.81 * 0.892913 / 1 = 26.61773653 Long tons
Answer is: 26.61773653 Long tons are equivalent to 29.81 Short tons.
