How to Convert Metric Tonnes to Pounds
Example: How many pounds are equivalent to 57.06 metric tonnes?
As;
1 metric tonnes = 2204.62 pounds
57.06 metric tonnes = Y pounds
Assuming Y is the answer, and by criss-cross principle;
Y equals 57.06 times 2204.62 over 1
(i.e.) Y = 57.06 * 2204.62 / 1 = 125795.6172 pounds
Answer is: 125795.6172 pounds are equivalent to 57.06 metric tonnes.
