How to Convert Long Tons to Metric Tonnes
Example: How many metric tonnes are equivalent to 51.85 Long tons?
As;
1 Long tons = 1.0160469088 metric tonnes
51.85 Long tons = Y metric tonnes
Assuming Y is the answer, and by criss-cross principle;
Y equals 51.85 times 1.0160469088 over 1
(i.e.) Y = 51.85 * 1.0160469088 / 1 = 52.68203222128 metric tonnes
Answer is: 52.68203222128 metric tonnes are equivalent to 51.85 Long tons.
