How to Convert Kilopounds to Metric Tonnes
Example: How many metric tonnes are equivalent to 23.59 kilopounds?
As;
1 kilopounds = 0.45359290943564 metric tonnes
23.59 kilopounds = Y metric tonnes
Assuming Y is the answer, and by criss-cross principle;
Y equals 23.59 times 0.45359290943564 over 1
(i.e.) Y = 23.59 * 0.45359290943564 / 1 = 10.700256733587 metric tonnes
Answer is: 10.700256733587 metric tonnes are equivalent to 23.59 kilopounds.
