It is equivalent to 907.2 kilograms (Kg), or approximately 2000 pounds (lb), or 0.9072 metric tons, or 0.892913 long tons (imperial).
How to Convert Kilopounds to Short Tons
Example: How many Short tons are equivalent to 77.57 kilopounds?
As;
1 kilopounds = 0.5 Short tons
77.57 kilopounds = Y Short tons
Assuming Y is the answer, and by criss-cross principle;
Y equals 77.57 times 0.5 over 1
(i.e.) Y = 77.57 * 0.5 / 1 = 38.785 Short tons
