## How to Convert Kilograms to Grams

*Example: How many grams are equivalent to 51.6 kilograms?*

As;

1 kilograms = 1000 grams

51.6 kilograms = Y grams

Assuming Y is the answer, and by criss-cross principle;

Y equals 51.6 times 1000 over 1

(i.e.) Y = 51.6 * 1000 / 1 = 51600 grams

Answer is: 51600 grams are equivalent to 51.6 kilograms.
