Long Ton (abbreviations: Lton, or ton imperial): is a non-SI metric unit of mass. Although, it is used principally as a unit of mass, it has acquired a number of meanings and uses over long years. It is equivalent to 1,016 kilograms (Kg), or approximately 2,239.859 pounds (lb), or 1.119929 short tons (US), or 1.016 metric tons.
How to Convert Grams to Long Tons
Example: How many Long tons are equivalent to 5.21 grams?
As;
1 grams = 9.84207E-7 Long tons
5.21 grams = Y Long tons
Assuming Y is the answer, and by criss-cross principle;
Y equals 5.21 times 9.84207E-7 over 1
(i.e.) Y = 5.21 * 9.84207E-7 / 1 = 5.12771847E-6 Long tons
Answer is: 5.12771847E-6 Long tons are equivalent to 5.21 grams.
