Kilogram (abbreviations: kg, or kgm): is a SI (metric) system unit of mass (IPK, also known as "Le Grand K" or "Big K") and equivalent to 1/1000 of one gram. Where, at the temperature of melting ice, one gram is the absolute weight of a volume equal to the hundredth part of a metre cube of pure water.
How to Convert Grams to Kilograms
Example: How many kilograms are equivalent to 36.36 grams?
As;
1 grams = 0.001 kilograms
36.36 grams = Y kilograms
Assuming Y is the answer, and by criss-cross principle;
Y equals 36.36 times 0.001 over 1
(i.e.) Y = 36.36 * 0.001 / 1 = 0.03636 kilograms
Answer is: 0.03636 kilograms are equivalent to 36.36 grams.
