**Definitions:**

A cubic decimetre (or litre) occupies a volume of 10x10x10 centimetres and is thus equal to one-thousandth of a cubic metre.

**Millimeter Cube** (abbreviation: **mm3**): is the SI derived unit of volume. It is the volume of a cube with edges one millimeter in length.

## How to Convert Liters to Millimeters Cube

*Example: How many millimeters cube are equivalent to 56.65 liters?*

As;

1 liters = 1000000 millimeters cube

56.65 liters = Y millimeters cube

Assuming Y is the answer, and by criss-cross principle;

Y equals 56.65 times 1000000 over 1

(i.e.) Y = 56.65 * 1000000 / 1 = 56650000 millimeters cube

Answer is: 56650000 millimeters cube are equivalent to 56.65 liters.
