**Definitions:**

**Liter** (abbreviations: **ltr, or lit, or l, or litre**): is an SI accepted metric system unit of volume equal to 1 cubic decimetre (dm3), 1,000 cubic centimetres (cm3) or 1/1,000 cubic metre. A cubic decimetre (or litre) occupies a volume of 10x10x10 centimetres and is thus equal to one-thousandth of a cubic metre.

**Foot Cube** (abbreviations: **ft3, or cf**): is the volume of a cube with sides of one foot (0.3048 m) in length. Its volume is equal to 28.3168 liters or about 1/35 of a cubic meter.

## How to Convert Liters to Feet Cube

*Example: How many feet cube are equivalent to 44.39 liters?*

As;

1 liters = 0.035 feet cube

44.39 liters = Y feet cube

Assuming Y is the answer, and by criss-cross principle;

Y equals 44.39 times 0.035 over 1

(i.e.) Y = 44.39 * 0.035 / 1 = 1.55365 feet cube

Answer is: 1.55365 feet cube are equivalent to 44.39 liters.
