Three significantly different sizes are in current use: the imperial gallon defined as 4.54609 litres, which is used in the United Kingdom, Canada, and some Caribbean nations; the US gallon defined as 231 cubic inches (3.785 L), which is used in the US and some Latin American and Caribbean countries; and the least-used US dry gallon defined as 1/8 US bushel (4.405 L).

## How to Convert Feet Cube to US Gallons

*Example: How many US gallons are equivalent to 40.02 feet cube?*

As;

1 feet cube = 7.481333 US gallons

40.02 feet cube = Y US gallons

Assuming Y is the answer, and by criss-cross principle;

Y equals 40.02 times 7.481333 over 1

(i.e.) Y = 40.02 * 7.481333 / 1 = 299.40294666 US gallons
