Day (abbreviations: dy, or d): is a unit of time. In common usage, it is either an interval equal to 24 hours or daytime, the consecutive period of time during which the Sun is above the horizon. As well, it is equivalent to a solar day, the period of time during which the Earth completes one rotation with respect to the Sun.
Hour (abbreviations: hr, or h): is a unit of time, conventionally counted as 1/24 of a day. In the modern metric system, it is equivalent to 3,600 seconds.
How to Convert Days to Hours
Example: How many hours are equivalent to 68.25 days?
As;
1 days = 24 hours
68.25 days = Y hours
Assuming Y is the answer, and by criss-cross principle;
Y equals 68.25 times 24 over 1
(i.e.) Y = 68.25 * 24 / 1 = 1638 hours
Answer is: 1638 hours are equivalent to 68.25 days.
