## How to Convert Degree Fahrenheit to Degree Celsius

### Example: How many degree Celsius are equivalent to 52.66 degree Fahrenheit?

As;

1 degree Fahrenheit = (5/9)*(X-32) degree Celsius

52.66 degree Fahrenheit = Y degree Celsius

Assuming Y is the answer, and by substitution principle;

Y equals ( (5/9)*(52.66-32) ) over 1, where X is substituted by 52.66

(i.e.) Y = ( (5/9)*(52.66-32) ) / 1 = 11.477777777778 degree Celsius
