**Definitions:**

**Bar** (abbreviation: **bar**): is a metric (still not approved by the International System of Units, SI) unit of pressure. It is exactly equal to 100,000 Pa and slightly lower than the current average atmospheric pressure on Earth, at sea level.

**Pascal** (abbreviations: **Pa, or N/m2**): is the SI derived unit of pressure used to quantify internal pressure, stress, Young's modulus and ultimate tensile strength. It is one newton per square meter. It is named after the French polymath Blaise Pascal.

## How to Convert Bars to Pascals

*Example: How many pascals are equivalent to 96.28 Bars?*

As;

1 Bars = 100000 pascals

96.28 Bars = Y pascals

Assuming Y is the answer, and by criss-cross principle;

Y equals 96.28 times 100000 over 1

(i.e.) Y = 96.28 * 100000 / 1 = 9628000 pascals

Answer is: 9628000 pascals are equivalent to 96.28 Bars.
