It is one meganewton per square meter or one newton per square millimeter. It is named after the French polymath Blaise Pascal.

## How to Convert Atmospheres to Megapascals

*Example: How many megapascals are equivalent to 63.08 Atmospheres?*

As;

1 Atmospheres = 0.1013 megapascals

63.08 Atmospheres = Y megapascals

Assuming Y is the answer, and by criss-cross principle;

Y equals 63.08 times 0.1013 over 1
