Atmosphere (abbreviation: atm): is a unit of standard pressure, equal to 101325 Pa, or 1.01325 bar.
Kilopascal (abbreviations: kPa, or kN/m2): is the SI derived unit of pressure used to quantify internal pressure, stress, Young's modulus and ultimate tensile strength. It is one kilonewton per square meter. It is named after the French polymath Blaise Pascal.
How to Convert Atmospheres to Kilopascals
Example: How many kilopascals are equivalent to 0.15 Atmospheres?
As;
1 Atmospheres = 101.325 kilopascals
0.15 Atmospheres = Y kilopascals
Assuming Y is the answer, and by criss-cross principle;
Y equals 0.15 times 101.325 over 1
(i.e.) Y = 0.15 * 101.325 / 1 = 15.19875 kilopascals
Answer is: 15.19875 kilopascals are equivalent to 0.15 Atmospheres.
