Atmosphere (abbreviation: atm): is a unit of standard pressure, equal to 101325 Pa, or 1.01325 bar.
Bar (abbreviation: bar): is a metric (still not approved by the International System of Units, SI) unit of pressure. It is exactly equal to 100,000 Pa and slightly lower than the current average atmospheric pressure on Earth, at sea level.
How to Convert Atmospheres to Bars
Example: How many Bars are equivalent to 46.34 Atmospheres?
As;
1 Atmospheres = 1.01325 Bars
46.34 Atmospheres = Y Bars
Assuming Y is the answer, and by criss-cross principle;
Y equals 46.34 times 1.01325 over 1
(i.e.) Y = 46.34 * 1.01325 / 1 = 46.954005 Bars
Answer is: 46.954005 Bars are equivalent to 46.34 Atmospheres.
