## How to Convert Yards to Meters

*Example: How many meters are equivalent to 38.89 yards?*

As;

1 yards = 0.9144 meters

38.89 yards = Y meters

Assuming Y is the answer, and by criss-cross principle;

Y equals 38.89 times 0.9144 over 1

(i.e.) Y = 38.89 * 0.9144 / 1 = 35.561016 meters
