Millimeter (abbreviation: mm): is a unit of length in the SI metric system, equal to one thousandth of a metre. Therefore, there are thousand millimetres in a metre and ten millimetres in a centimetre.
How to Convert Meters to Millimeters
Example: How many millimeters are equivalent to 84.63 meters?
As;
1 meters = 1000 millimeters
84.63 meters = Y millimeters
Assuming Y is the answer, and by criss-cross principle;
Y equals 84.63 times 1000 over 1
(i.e.) Y = 84.63 * 1000 / 1 = 84630 millimeters
Answer is: 84630 millimeters are equivalent to 84.63 meters.
