## How to Convert Meters to Kilometers

*Example: How many kilometers are equivalent to 35.69 meters?*

As;

1 meters = 0.001 kilometers

35.69 meters = Y kilometers

Assuming Y is the answer, and by criss-cross principle;

Y equals 35.69 times 0.001 over 1

(i.e.) Y = 35.69 * 0.001 / 1 = 0.03569 kilometers

Answer is: 0.03569 kilometers are equivalent to 35.69 meters.
