How to Convert Inches to Meters
Example: How many meters are equivalent to 31.02 inches?
As;
1 inches = 0.0254 meters
31.02 inches = Y meters
Assuming Y is the answer, and by criss-cross principle;
Y equals 31.02 times 0.0254 over 1
(i.e.) Y = 31.02 * 0.0254 / 1 = 0.787908 meters
Answer is: 0.787908 meters are equivalent to 31.02 inches.
