**Definitions:**

**Gram Per Milliliter** (abbreviations: **g/ml, or gpml**): is an SI derived unit of density, defined by mass in grams divided by volume in cubic milliliters and equivalent to gram per cubic centimeter.

**Tonne Per Cubic Meter** (abbreviations: **t/m3, or tpm3**): is a unit of density, defined by mass in tonnes divided by volume in cubic meter

## How to Convert Grams Per Milliliters to Tonnes Per Cubic Meters

*Example: How many tonnes per cubic meters are equivalent to 0.5 grams per milliliters?*

As;

1 grams per milliliters = 1 tonnes per cubic meters

0.5 grams per milliliters = Y tonnes per cubic meters

Assuming Y is the answer, and by criss-cross principle;

Y equals 0.5 times 1 over 1

(i.e.) Y = 0.5 * 1 / 1 = 0.5 tonnes per cubic meters

Answer is: 0.5 tonnes per cubic meters are equivalent to 0.5 grams per milliliters.
