The square metre is derived from the SI base unit of the metre, which itself is the length of the path travelled by light in absolute vacuum within time interval of 1/299,792,458 * 1000 of a second.
Yard Square (abbreviations: yd2, or sy): is an imperial unit of area, formerly used in most of the English-speaking world but now generally replaced by the square metre, however it is still in widespread use in the U.S., Canada and the U.K. It is the area of a square with sides of one yard (three feet, thirty-six inches, 0.9144 metres) in length.
How to Convert Kilometers Square to Yards Square
Example: How many yards square are equivalent to 67.11 kilometers square?
As;
1 kilometers square = 1195982.8321 yards square
67.11 kilometers square = Y yards square
Assuming Y is the answer, and by criss-cross principle;
Y equals 67.11 times 1195982.8321 over 1
(i.e.) Y = 67.11 * 1195982.8321 / 1 = 80262407.862231 yards square
Answer is: 80262407.862231 yards square are equivalent to 67.11 kilometers square.
