## How to Convert Kilometers Square to Meters Square

*Example: How many meters square are equivalent to 44.57 kilometers square?*

As;

1 kilometers square = 1000000 meters square

44.57 kilometers square = Y meters square

Assuming Y is the answer, and by criss-cross principle;

Y equals 44.57 times 1000000 over 1

(i.e.) Y = 44.57 * 1000000 / 1 = 44570000 meters square

Answer is: 44570000 meters square are equivalent to 44.57 kilometers square.
